We are closed down
We recently had to close down Little Chefz. We would like to thank all of you who have faithfully supported us in the last two years, it has been great being able to teach your children! We are looking into the possibility of continuing to teach from another location, or even coming to students homes. We are thankful that we're still open!
It's November and somehow we are still here! It takes a lot of great loyal customers to keep us going and we are grateful for you (you know who you are)! I love this time of year when the weather is cooling off and you can wear sweaters and boots and turn the oven on to make pumpkin bread or cookies, then the house smells so good you can even smell it when you pull into the garage! Ahh, I am getting carried away. I so love it though, it just feels different, it's in the air, the smells, the chill, the leaves falling, it is such a great season to bake and be in the kitchen! We have some super fun things planned for this month, like our week of pie making. Lemon sour cream, double chocolate mousse, and of course the all time classic Pumpkin, mmmn I can't wait for pie week! We really do have a class for every age, so give us a call and sign your 4 yr. old up for cooking class or Discovery playtime, and your 8 yr. old up for a fun after school cooking class. Then get rid of the teenagers for a couple hours by bringing them to a cooking competition at night, they will thank you for it because it will be the most fun they've had in a very long time! If you have never been in, we would love to give you a private tour and show you what we do here at Little Chefz! We have a unique home like setting and we teach cooking, something no one else in town does, it's just awesome! Saint George becoming a Ghost town?
It makes us so sad to hear that so many great businesses in St. George have had to close their doors! We do not want to be the next one! Despite the rumors and by unexplainable miracles, somehow we are still open for business! Please come in and see all the wonderful things we have to offer your children at Little Chefz! If you have been to Little Chefz, then we know your child had an awesome experience here! Help us out this month by helping us to "Spook" off the threat of closing down and sign up for a fun class today! If you mention that you read this, we will take $5 off your next class! What we offer:
Preschool
Ages 3, 4 and 5. At Little Chefz we offer a wonderful preschool program called 5five. We believe a child learns more using all five senses everyday! We will teach your child all they need to know to prepare them for grade school. For more information on our preschool please visit www.discovering5five.blogspot.com
Monday/Wednesday Class and Tues/Thursday classes offered also an optional bonus Friday Cooking Only Class is also offered at a discounted price of $35 for kids enrolled in preschool, non enrolled price is $65.
Morning and Afternoon Classes are available. Class times are 9:30-12:00 and 12:30-3:00.
Friday class 9:30-11:00 and 11:30-1:00
Tuition is only $95 monthly for preschool, add our bonus Friday cooking class for only $35
Classes run all year with a summer program on a weekly basis.
Regular Preschool year is from September to May.
Registration is $40 per year
After School Cooking Club
This is for all ages, 5 and older. Children will start off with cooking 101 basics and be able to move all the way up to the advanced level. It is always changing with the seasons and will incorporate lots of fun holiday cooking. Classes are held from 4:00-5:30PM. The class fee is $15 per child per time.
Dinner and a Movie
Drop your kids off for dinner and they will be doing the cooking! Movie themed cooking nights so If you want Spaghetti and meatballs, then you guessed it, we will be watching Lady and The Tramp. Schedule changes monthly. 3 hrs. long from 6-9PM. This fun filled night, including dinner and entertainment is only$20 per child. Must be at least 5 years old to attend. Offered every Friday, and some Saturdays. Must sign up in advanced and we fill up fast so call ahead.
Cooking Camp
Summer classes are Monday through Thursday. They are 1 1/2 hrs each day and are for one week. Different themes are available so your child can take several classes. Some of the fun themes we have are: Around the World, Cooking through the day, Bread making, Cake decorating, and Pasta Making, or how about "Cool off in the kitchen where we will make smoothies and home made ice cream! Camps are $55 per week. Registration is $20 which includes everything you need. Registration is good through the summer and will be applied to your Fall registration when you continue on with us.
Iron Chefz Competition
This class is for ages 12 and older only. We will divide into teams and then unveil the secret ingredient of the day. the teams will then get 5 minutes to research recipes and look for ingredients. Each team gets only 5 helps from the instructor. This is a fast paced, super fun exciting class your older kids won't want to miss out on!
Birthday Parties
We offer a variety of themed birthday parties: Our Pizza Party is the most popular, the kids make the dough, then their own pizza and for dessert the birthday child makes a giant sugar cookie pizza to share with everyone! We also have a Cake decorating party where all the attendees get to decorate a magical mini cake, and a delicious calzone! We can customize a party to fit your needs, or a special theme if you'd like, just ask. We provide everything from the invitations, the candles and even the treat bags! So you can sit back, take photos and enjoy the party! All Party Packages are just $199 for 10 kids. This price includes a meal with drink and a dessert, a disposable chefz hat & apron, and a small treat bag. Additional children $15 each. Birthdays are scheduled for Saturdays at 10:00, 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00PM, or on weekdays when classes are not being held. Parties are 1 1/2 hrs. long. A deposit of 1/2 down must be maid to book a party.

Private Cooking
Lessons with owner Gen Dalley upon request. Prices Vary. All ages, Yes Mom you can learn to cook too! Have a favorite restaurant meal, let her know and she will help you create it even better than they do! Let her teach you how to save money by dining in, instead of out! Your family will think you are amazing after just a few lessons with Gen! Classes are offered in the evenings or for an additional fee, she will come to your home!

Looking for a cake or treat for that special someone? One of a kind cakes like nothing you've seen before are available for any occasion. We can make a cake look like anything, and we pride ourselves in using all edible decorations and sculptures! Unique flavors, our most popular, -Pineapple orange cake with a layer of strawberry mango puree and cheesecake filling. mmmn mmmn Yum... Delicious! You must be extra special to have a cake done by Gen and the Little Chefz staff. You need to call far enough in advance that we have ample time to make your masterpiece!! We also have many custom confections and treats call and ask about details of these custom orders. Prices vary, are for the serious sweet eaters only! Good taste doesn't come cheap!
